What is an Oxford Brain Story (OBS) trainer?

The OBS team provides professionals with the background, resources, content and support they need to deliver the 90-minute Step 1 training in their communities. The OBS trainers deliver Brain Story presentations and disseminate Brain Story materials locally, whilst ensuring fidelity to the science.

Who can become an OBS trainer?

OBS trainers come from a range of backgrounds and sectors and all share a passion for the Brain Story. Importantly, trainers should have approval from within their organisation to take on this role.

Why become an OBS trainer?

OBS trainers are committed to bringing the Brain Story and its underlying science to their community. Consistent with the OBS team, their broader goal is to build a community-wide common language and understanding of this science in order to to promote positive lifelong outcomes.

What is the training process?

The initial quality assurance training process takes ~20 hours to complete. There are also ongoing quality assurance requirements for graduated trainers.
